The Northern Ireland Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Club supports owners, breeders and exhibitors of the breed. Founded after discussions in 1977, it gained Kennel Club recognition in 1979 and later achieved championship status. The club holds an annual Championship Show as well as an autumn open show, welcoming competitors from Northern Ireland and mainland Britain.
